Your instructor may be using an e-book provided by the library as a required or suggested textbook for your course.  To find out, check your Canvas course first for a "permalink" or permanent link to the textbook as an e-book.  If there is one, you can click on the link and enter your ESU username and password to read the e-book online or download specific chapters.

Some instructors place copies of textbooks on Course Reserves. These materials are located at the Circulation Desk, 2nd floor.  Depending upon the material, the circulation period can be for two hours in-library use, overnight checkout, or other times.

To see if your instructor has placed a textbook on Course Reserves, go to https://sites.google.com/g.emporia.edu/librariesandarchives/services/course-reserves?authuser=0 and click on either "Browse Course Reserves Materials by Instructor" or "Browse Course Reserves Materials by Course".
