To request material through Interlibrary Loan, you should do the following:

1. Check ESU's catalog for books or periodicals to determine whether they are owned by William Allen White.

2. Use the online request form (go to "I want to...request an Interlibrary Loan" on the right-hand toolbar on the library web page; fill out the necessary form and submit it).

3. On the form, you may specify how you want to be notified of received materials (phone, mail, or e-mail). For the most part, chapters of books and articles will arrive as PDF files via e-mail. Printed materials will be mailed via mail if you are a distant ed student, and they will take longer to arrive.  If you are a patron here on campus you will be notified by email that the item is here and ready for you to pick up at the circulation desk.
