Q. How do I search for a DVD in the catalog?

To see if the library owns a DVD or other media item, go to the library's webpage at http://www.emporia.edu/library and click on Discovery Search Catalog.

If you know the title, change the first search field to "Title" and search that way.  The information about the DVD, including the call number and location, will appear on the next screen.

If you are searching for DVDs or other media items for a topic, type your subject or topic on the first search field in the Discovery Search Catalog and click on Search.  On the next screen, look for "Filter by Format" on the left side and click on "Show More".  You will then see a pop-up window.  Select "Videos" if you are looking for DVDs and "Audio" if you are looking for another format such as CDs.  Click on "Update".
