If you are a distance education student or faculty member, we are happy to scan articles from bound journals we own and email them to you in PDF. Go to the library's webpage at http://www.emporia.edu/library and click on the "Interlibrary Loan" icon/link.  Log in with your ESU user name and password, and fill out the Personal Record information if this is your first time using the system.  Then, select the appropriate link under "New Request" for books or articles.

  • If you are requesting a book owned by the library, on the "Notes" field include the information from the catalog for the call number and location, and add that you are a distance education student.  We will check out the book and mail it to you.  You are responsible for mailing the book back to the library.
  • If you are requesting an article owned in print by the library, on the "Notes" field add that you are a distance education student.  We will scan the article as a PDF and send it to you at no charge.
